During
November a boiler blow down valve, was donated to the engine, this will be used
to remove sludge from the bottom of the boiler whilst still at full working
steam pressure
Also
donated was a full set of gauge glasses, when boiler in operation these indicate
to the fireman the level of water in the boiler
