David Madden lives in Sheringham and has drawn this wonderful side view of 76084.
The tender bears an early British Railways crest as did the original all her life and shows off the ‘Horwich Lining’ to great effect. The painters at Horwich Works where 76084 was built in 1957 did not like putting the crest transfer over a cross of rivet heads so they decided to move the rear vertical lining forward. With the crest still central in the lining box it only encountered horizontal rivet heads making life easier.
This is a wonderful drawing of 76084 and at only £5.95 including FREE postage and packaging will be a great addition to your collection.
The print is sized paper 395mm wide x 195mm high.
