76084 Sightings in BR Service
Listed below are some memories of watching 76084 on the Blackburn - Hellifield line from Bob Allison. Bob lived at Clitheroe and used to see 76084 and her sisters 76080/1/2/3 almost daily, passing on freight, shunting in the yard and working local passenger trains, from his notes you can see that 76084 was a regular visitors to Clitheroe.
Other people observed 76084 in different places. Interestingly, on 28 November 1964 76084 took a mixed freight south on the Settle-Carlisle. She was videoed in the higher reaches of the line with snow on the ground and photographed in at least 3 different locations that very same day.
