Have you got some skills that you are willing to employ for the good of our project?
76084 is being restored by a team consisting of full time professional engineers and contractors with specialist skills supported by a team of willing volunteers who give up their spare leisure time in order that 76084 returns to steam.
Not every one of our much appreciated volunteers lives in the North East within easy travelling distance of the locomotive's home. Many cannot spend much time at the site but make the old journey to see the progress and lend a hand.
There are other tasks that volunteers perform writing this web page and maintaining this site is one that does not demand a regular attendance at site.
76084 Locomotive Company Limited will always welcome a willing volunteer no matter how skilled. We maintain a jobs list on our Footplate blog so that anyone attending the site can be forewarned of the type of work that is currently being undertaken.
